How do renewals work?

Renewal notice sent to the controlling agent via email 45-60 days prior to depending on the state. You and your insured will be emailed copies of the policy documents and new terms in advance of the renewal date (typically 45-60 days in advance). The only thing they will mail is the notice of cancellation per state law. 
Any changes that need to be made should be called in to Hiscox at that time (1-866-739-0727).
Policies automatically renew using the payment method used at time of purchase. 
Hiscox is in charge of properly emailing and/or mailing all notices associated with the account.
