How do I request an Agent/Broker of Record (AOR/BOR) change?

Attune may accept BOR changes on renewals only(no mid-term BOR changes). To ensure timely processing, please submit the BOR change request 120 - 10 days prior to the renewal effective date. If we do not receive the request at least five days in advance of the renewal effective date, we cannot honor the request.

How to request a BOR change

  • Submit a completed and signed AGENT/BROKER OF RECORD CHANGE (Acord 36) here.
  • Attune will review, and once determined as acceptable, Attune will notify the incumbent broker that we have received a BOR.
  • The incumbent broker has five days to obtain a rescinding BOR. If Attune receives a rescinding BOR, the process stops. If Attune does not receive a rescinding BOR by the fifth day, the policy will be transferred to the new broker. 

Note: Attune does not accept BORs from wholesaler producers to retail producers. Also please note that for Workers' Compensation BORs, Attune needs to be listed on the ACORD form
