How do I cancel my policy?

 

We can process insured-requested cancellations effective the day of the request or for any future date, provided we receive a completed Loss Policy Release form (Acord 35).

If the cancellation request is for a past date, we require the completed LPR and additional supporting documentation to review the request:

  • Replaced coverage: Please provide proof of the duplicate coverage in the form of the declaration page from the replacement. 
  • Business closed or business sold: Please provide one of the following:
    • Time-stamped proof of the insured's first written request to cancel
    • Bill of sale or termination of lease
    • Signed document verifying the date the business closed.
